Slobodné konanie a vedecké metódy skúmania
Ľuboš Rojka SJ
ROJKA, Ľ.: Free Will Agency and Scientific Methods. Studia Aloisiana, 6, 2015, 3, s. 5 – 16.
Experience of free decision-making is, according to D. Pereboom, illusory, because there is no evidence of a change of the probabilities predicted from the observation of the brain activity. P. van Inwagen, for similar reasons, declares free will agency unknowable. The probabilistic models used by Pereboom a van Inwagen are limited. For an evidence about the infl uence of free will on human life, one needs to go into the fi eld of scientifi c psychology. The goal of scientifi c methods in psychology is similar to empirical methods, and there are four immportant elements in their research: the description of the events, prediction of the future events, explaination of the causal relations among these events, and application of the acquired knowledge to improvement of human life. These four individual steps can demonstrate objectively observable infl uence of the libertarian free will on human behavior.

Trinitarian Perspectives on Ecology
Lucio Florio
FLORIO, L.: Trinitarian Perspectives on Ecology. Studia Aloisiana, 6, 2015, 3, s. 17 – 31.
The New Testament incorporates the concept of the Trinity to express the novelty of the message of Jesus Christ about the divine ontology. In Mt 28:19, we are presented with Jesus Christ resurrected who exhorts his disciples to announce the Gospel and to “baptize in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. In Christian theology, this idea called for the elaboration of a new category of being: the substantial relation. Primitive Christianity thought that the deepest reality was this substantially relational reality. In fact, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are “to be for the other” absolutes in the single nature or divine substance. Then, God is conceived as a mystery of communion; thus, the expression perichoresis was elaborated to indicate this relationship. It means that each of the divine persons is in the other without confounding or annulling one another. The projection of this idea of a “God-communion” into a perception of Nature is present in some of the fi rst theologians. This paper aims to show the Trinitarian understanding of Nature some of them had and the possible consequences for an ecological theology.

Globálna pentekostalizácia kresťanstva a jej etické dôsledky
Andrzej Kobyliński
KOBYLIŃSKI, A.: The Global Pentecostalization of Christianity and its Ethical Consequences. Studia Aloisiana, 6, 2015, 3, s. 33 – 45.
Over the recent years, we have witnessed a pentecostalization of Christianity around the world. The term pentecostalization refers to the exceptionally fast rise in the number of many types of strictly Pentecostal communities, and the gradual transformation of many other Christian churches and congregations into a single, universal type of charismatic Christianity around the globe. Pentecostalism is the most vibrant and rapidly growing religious movement of this century, circling the globe in less than 25 years. No branch of Christianity has grown more rapidly than Pentecostalism, especially in the southern hemisphere. Characterized by speaking in tongues, miracles, television evangelism, and megachurches, it is also known for its small-group meetings, empowerment of individuals, liberation of women, and humanitarian concerns. We have to understand the origins and growth of Pentecostalism, looking at not only the theological aspects of the movement, but also the sociological infl uences of its political and humanitarian viewpoints.

VARŠO, M.: Jesuit College in Spišská Kapitula : Students and School Dramas in the Middle of the 17th Century. Studia Aloisiana, 6, 2015, 3, s. 47 – 64.
Jesuit baroque theatre spread out through the Europe by Jesuit colleges was a high educational and cultural eff ort in the time of the re-catolicism of the 17th–18th century. In Slovakia, as in other European countries, Jesuit drama had a great importance not just because of the intellectual and cultural struggle with the developed protestant theatre, but also as a way of education giving the important cultural imprint to the following generations. One of the educational centres in the east part of Upper Hungary (today Slovakia) was Spišská Kapitula. The preserved school dramas from Spišská Kapitula college disclose interesting informations about the dramas production, staging, language, spectators, students, teachers and some personalities having in the comming times an infl uence on the cultural and political developement of the region.
